The following are a summary of research projects I have been involved in since joining the Ph.D. program at Georgia Tech in Fall, 2000.  They are organized by date, with the most recent project listed first.  With the exception of only a few applications, all have involved implementation in both simulation and on real robots.  My thesis work included several of the following applications.

  • Imitation Learning for Multi-Step Assembly Tasks - duplicating assembly tasks with a manipulator that have first been shown to the robot by a human trainer.
